Moonstone 24°F Goose Down Sleeping Bag – Vintage/Used
A great piece of old-school backpacking gear from Moonstone, a name longtime outdoor folks may remember. This mummy-style sleeping bag is insulated with goose down and carries an original 24°F temperature rating, giving it a nice combination of lightweight packability and warmth for camping and backpacking.
The blue shell and black interior are in surprisingly nice shape for the age of the bag, and the down still appears to have good loft. The mummy shape, insulated hood, and full-length zipper are classic technical sleeping bag features from an era when Moonstone was producing some seriously good outdoor equipment.
This one has definitely been around awhile, but that's part of what makes it cool. Whether it gets put back into service for camping or picked up by someone who appreciates vintage outdoor gear, there's plenty of life left in it.
